We ask ChatGPT the same assignment question hundreds of times and collect every response.
Certain phrases show up in 5%, 10%, even 20% of responses. AI keeps repeating itself. Humans don't.
When a student submits, we check their text against those phrases and record every match and its position.
The teacher gets a highlighted document showing which phrases matched and how often AI produces each one.
Teachers see the reasoning. The score breaks down into specific phrases, each with the percentage of AI responses that contained it.
Students can appeal with evidence. If a phrase was flagged, they can see exactly which one and argue their case with specifics, not gut feelings.
Detection is built per assignment. We generate fingerprints from your specific prompt, not from a generic model trained on internet data.
