Antibotech Inc. operates AntiBoTech, a teacher-controlled essay marking, writing-room, feedback, authorship-support, and LMS workflow service. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the limits of the protections currently built into the product.
AntiBoTech collects the information needed to run teacher-controlled essay marking, student writing, feedback, and LMS workflows:
We use this data to provide and secure the service: account access, class and roster management, student writing, AI-suggested marking, teacher review, feedback delivery, LMS integration, billing, quota controls, abuse prevention, support, data export, and deletion workflows.
We do not sell student or teacher data, and we do not run advertising based on student work.
AntiBoTech sends assignment prompts, rubrics, calibration examples, essay content, teacher notes, oral-response text, and selected writing context to AI providers such as Anthropic and OpenAI when those features are used.
We do not intentionally add roster identifiers, student email addresses, student codes, or LMS IDs to AI prompts. Before model calls, the service applies a best-effort masking pass for known roster identifiers and obvious personally identifying patterns.
Essay or transcript text may still contain identifying information if a teacher or student includes it in the content, so users should avoid adding unnecessary personal information to student work or feedback. Best-effort masking is not a guarantee that all identifying information is removed.
AntiBoTech is not directed to children under 13 for independent self-service use. Students may use the service only when they are 13 or older, or when they are using it through a school, teacher, institution, parent, guardian, or other authorized party.
Teachers and institutions are responsible for confirming that they have the authority and any required notices or consents to upload student work, invite students, enable writing-process capture, or use oral-defence workflows.
Writing-process evidence, oral-defence outputs, fingerprint matches, authorship flags, and related integrity signals are review aids. They are not automatic findings of authorship, misconduct, plagiarism, innocence, or guilt.
Typed oral-defence responses may be stored with the submission. If voice features are enabled, raw audio is stored privately while needed for transcription and review, is purged when grading is finalized, and is also subject to the configured raw-audio retention cap. Transcripts and summaries may remain after raw audio is purged.
Raw voice audio must be processed for transcription before text masking can be applied. Text transcripts and summaries can be masked after transcription.
We use subprocessors to operate the service, including database, hosting, AI, email, and payment providers. See the Subprocessor List for the current public list.
Data is stored in Supabase PostgreSQL with row-level security designed to ensure teachers, students, and integrations can only access data they are authorized to access. Connections are encrypted via TLS. Service role keys, AI-provider keys, and payment keys are never exposed client-side.
Teachers can export account data and request account deletion. Account deletion hides the teacher account and starts the configured recovery and purge process. Some records may be deleted, anonymized, retained for legal or security reasons, or handled through the relevant school or institution depending on the customer relationship and applicable law.
AntiBoTech and its subprocessors may process data in Canada and other jurisdictions depending on the provider, hosting region, AI provider, payment provider, email provider, and LMS integration used. Schools and institutions should review their own data-residency and procurement requirements before using the service.
