Terms of Service

Last updated: August 19, 2026

These Terms govern access to AntiBoTech, a teacher-controlled essay marking, writing-room, feedback, authorship-support, and LMS workflow service provided by Antibotech Inc..

1. Acceptance and Authority

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, inviting students, submitting work, accessing feedback, or using AntiBoTech, you agree to these Terms.

If you use AntiBoTech for a class, school, university, institution, department, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to do so and that your use complies with that organization's policies and applicable law.

If you do not have authority to provide student information to AntiBoTech or to use the service with your students, you must not use AntiBoTech with student information.

2. Service Description

AntiBoTech provides teacher-controlled essay marking, writing-room, feedback, authorship-support, and LMS workflows. The system produces AI-suggested scores, comments, process summaries, and related evidence for teacher review. No grade or feedback is meant to reach a student without teacher approval.

3. AI-Suggested, Teacher-Approved

All AI output is advisory. Teachers remain responsible for final grading, feedback, academic decisions, and any student-facing communication. AntiBoTech does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated scores, comments, process summaries, oral-defence outputs, or integrity-related signals.

4. Teacher and Institution Responsibilities

5. Student and Minors Use

AntiBoTech is not directed to children under 13 for independent self-service use. A student may create or use an account only if they are 13 or older, or if they are using the service through a school, teacher, institution, parent, guardian, or other authorized party. If you lack authority to provide student information or invite students, you must not use AntiBoTech with that student information.

6. Student Data, AI Providers, and De-identification

AntiBoTech may process student accounts, roster records, submissions, writing-process events, oral-defence text or audio, transcripts, feedback, PDFs, and LMS identifiers as described in the Privacy Policy.

Before AI-provider calls, the product applies a best-effort masking pass for known roster identifiers and obvious personally identifying patterns. This is not a guarantee that all identifying information is removed from essay, transcript, or teacher-note content.

7. Integrity and Authorship Features

Fingerprint matches, writing-process evidence, oral-defence outputs, authorship flags, and related integrity signals are conversation aids for teacher review. They must not be used as the sole basis for misconduct allegations, discipline, penalties, grade sanctions, or other adverse student action.

8. Customer Content

Customer Content includes assignments, rubrics, rosters, student information, essays, drafts, submissions, comments, notes, oral responses, transcripts, uploaded files, and related data submitted to or generated through AntiBoTech.

You represent that you have the rights and authority needed to provide Customer Content to AntiBoTech. You grant AntiBoTech a limited license to host, store, copy, process, transmit, display, analyze, and create outputs from Customer Content as needed to provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve the service.

9. Payment

Teacher plan: CAD $23/month or CAD $239/year for 125 essays per month. Optional top-ups add 50 essays for CAD $7. Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel according to the published cancellation and billing policy.

10. Fair Use and Abuse Controls

AntiBoTech may throttle, pause, suspend, restrict, downgrade, cancel, or terminate accounts, features, subscriptions, classes, invites, integrations, or API paths that bypass quotas, overload the service, share accounts beyond intended classroom use, attack the service, access data without authorization, misuse student data, or create legal, privacy, billing, security, student-safety, or operational risk.

11. Third-Party Services

AntiBoTech depends on third-party services, including Supabase, Anthropic, OpenAI, Stripe, Resend, hosting providers, and LMS/integration providers. Third-party services may have outages, limits, bugs, data-handling practices, or terms outside AntiBoTech's control.

12. Disclaimers

AntiBoTech is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, AntiBoTech disclaims warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, security, error-free operation, or suitability for any grading, academic-integrity, disciplinary, or legal decision.

AntiBoTech does not warrant that the service will detect AI writing, prove authorship, prevent misconduct, identify plagiarism, produce accurate grades, or satisfy any institution's academic-integrity requirements.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AntiBoTech is not liable for grading decisions, academic decisions, institutional policy decisions, disciplinary decisions, academic disputes, reputational harm, loss of data, lost profits, business interruption, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.

14. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia, Canada, and applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Nova Scotia, Canada will have venue for disputes except where applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Changes

AntiBoTech may update these Terms. The updated version will be posted on the service, and material changes may be accompanied by additional notice where appropriate.
